**Sometimes Legacy starts the Thursday before the competition**

 

DESCRIPTION:

Legacy is a regional dance competition we use to qualify for Nationals. We have attended Legacy for 15 years and appreciate their professional and moral values when it comes to dance competitions.

PARENT OBSERVATION:

There are no ticket sales for parent observation. Family and friends can attend the competition for free and come and go as they please. On days with larger groups, seating can be limited especially during production.

 

SCHEDULE:

Dancers will receive the competition schedule two weeks before the event. Miss Kim will set arrival times 2 hours before their “on-stage” time.

 

LIVE FEED:

Legacy does offer a live feed of the competition, so extended family/friends can watch your dancers on stage. Links will be sent out before the event. There is no added fee to watch the Live Feed

 

PICTURES/VIDEO:

Miss Kim receives videos and professional pictures of your dancers on stage so you can sit back and enjoy your dancers’ performance. Links will be sent out after the event for free downloads.

 

FOOD:

Dancers are responsible for their food throughout the weekend. Some competitions have concession food, others do not. Please plan in advance!

 

NATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Dancers will need to receive a platinum to qualify for Nationals.

 

WATCHING OTHER TEAMS:

Please do your best to show up and support and encourage other dancers performing at regionals!

 

AWARD CEREMONIES:

Award ceremonies will last about 60 minutes.

 

BIG/LITTLE SIBLING:

Dancers bring a card and candy for their sibling for our first competition!
