AXIOM CONVENTION

DESCRIPTION:

We have been attending the Legacy Dance Competition for 15 years. Legacy has started a convention portion of their competition that will be held in Milwaukee on October 12. This is an optional convention for all company members. Just like the other conventions, dancers will change classes and teachers every hour on the hour.

 

Parents can drop their child off 30 minutes before their first class, there they will receive their wristband from Miss Kim to enter their classes. Please make sure your dancer has lunch for the designated lunch period. Also, please provide snacks and water throughout the day for your dancer. Parents are allowed to observe their child for free. There will be a showcase at the end of the day where Miss Kim with send out a schedule prior to the convention for that designated time. At this showcase, dancers can earn scholarships for the next year at this convention.

 

TRAVEL:

Parents will need to drop their dancers off at the convention center in downtown Milwaukee.

LUNCH:

Parents should make sure their dancer has lunch with them. Parents can also drop off a lunch during the lunch period.

 

PARENT OBSERVATION:

If parents would like to watch their dancers, they must purchase a parent observation wristband for $35 at the merchandise table at the convention.

 

SCHEDULE:

This is a one-day convention, the classes run early in the morning through the afternoon. See the next page for a sample schedule of the convention for the weekend.
