NATIONALS

DESCRIPTION:

Dancers qualify for Nationals at the Legacy Dance Competition. Mini, Junior, and Senior need to receive a platinum in order to qualify for nationals. Junior Elite and Senior Elite need Elite Gold or Platinum to qualify for nationals. The Week following Nationals Miss Kim will send an email of all the dancers who qualified for Nationals. All the fees are associated with nationals, and you can determine if nationals are appropriate for you and your family (*Nationals is not mandatory*). Dancers will have one 60-minute rehearsal a week prior to nationals. The national schedule is given 30 days out so you can make adjustments to your hotel. For the most part, dancers can compete in nationals for one or two days depending on their involvement in solos/duets/trios. Normally solos/duets/trios are held on Sunday and Monday of the week of Nationals.

LIVE FEED:

Legacy does offer a live feed of the competition, so extended family/friends can watch your dancers on stage. Links will be sent out before the event. There is no added fee to watch the Live Feed

 

PICTURES/VIDEO:

Miss Kim receives videos and professional pictures of your dancers only for group dances on stage so you can sit back and enjoy your dancers’ performances. Solo/duets/trios are responsible for purchasing their own at the competition. Links will be sent out after the event for free downloads.

 

AWARD CEREMONIES:

Award ceremonies will last about 20-30 minutes.
