DESCRIPTION:

Below are dates when dancers have optional attendance at the Hollywood Convention and Competition. Senior Elite and Junior Elite will attend this competition on April 11th - 13th in Chicago. Dancers do have the option of attending the other two conventions: Detroit/Indiana at 50% off of the convention rate. This is a great opportunity to give the dancers experience with an audition material, as well as taking class with the Hollywood Connection staff.

LUNCH:

Hollywood Connection is a competition and convention. Parents are responsible for providing their child with lunch during the allotted lunchtime.

 

PARENT OBSERVATION:

If parents would like to observe classes, there is a $50 wristband fee which can be purchased at the merch table on the day of the competition.

 

SCHEDULE:

Friday night convention classes are optional for Studio Via dancers. Classes begin early Saturday morning. After the convention dancers must go to their rooms and get ready for competition. Once we have a schedule, Miss Kim will set arrival times. The convention also starts on Sunday early in the morning. Sunday afternoon is the “Rap Party” where dancers earn scholarships for their auditions and convention classes.

Dancers have the option to attend other convention cities for 50% off (Detroit and Indiana) register for these on your registration form.
